Cheap Soup

There is a new printable coupon for $1.10 off one can of Progresso soup. According to another blogger, this goes for $1.50 at Wal-Mart-prices may vary but I'll certainly be printing these out and checking the price at my local Wal-Mart.

2 Rings & 1 Necklace

So one of my mypoints.com point earning opportunities was signing up for dollars4 gold.com and getting the free g-pak to send my gold in. I got it the other day and went through my jewelry box to see what I had that I didn't wear anymore. I'm not really into yellow gold anymore, I prefer the white gold much better. I have a ring that I wore in high school that had my birthstone(opal) and then a few teeny tiny diamonds on the side. A few months after wearing it, the opal fell out and I wasn't able to wear it anymore. I decided I really didn't need to hold on to that anymore. Then I had another opal ring that my Grandma had given me. It also had some teeny tiny diamonds on the side so I decided to pry those babies outta there since they weren't going to be paying me for the precious stones. It wasn't too much effort to get the diamonds out. They looked much bigger in the ring,LOL. I saved them along with the opal from that ring. Then I had a necklace that I had gotten years ago but never wore. Like I said, I just don't like yellow gold. So I sent away my three items in hopes of getting rich. Okay, not rich but I thought I'd get a few bucks for them and since they had just been sitting in my jewelery box for years unused...what the heck!
So I got my check in the mail today and the grand total is..................... $13.75. Okay, maybe not quite what I was expecting but I don't regret it. Luckily though if I was unhappy with the amount, I would be able to contact them within 10 days of the check date and be able to get my items back. Hey, I can get quite alot for $13.75 at CVS :)

Free Green Cleaners

I just heard about this on another blog I visit. If you register here you'll receive a full-size cleaning solution. After you've used the product, go back to the website and either write a review, review it on your blog, or write about it anywhere where others can view it. It sounds like you might be able to get a few cleaning products to try out with just a little bit of effort on your part.

Pick N Save 1/22-1/28

*Edited because apparently the printable coupons that say do not double can actually be doubled-it just means that the store can't seek double the value from mftr.(I haven't tried it yet just what fellow coupon blogger told me)

General Mills Cereal Deal-
Buy 6 boxes get $10 off instantly and get $3.75 coupon for milk
The cheapest kind that you can get run about $3.19. You can print off two coupons(per computer so if you have two computer like I do you can get more) for $.75 off Kix cereal. You can print them off either at www.coupon.com or if you sign up at www.mypoints.com(please get a referral from me please) they also have the same coupons and then you get 10 points for every redeemed coupon and if you redeem 5 in a month you get additional points(I forgot to mention that in my mypoints post). There had been some cereal coupons in the paper awhile back so if you have those there was a $1 off three boxes. Here is what I'm planning to do:
3 boxes Kix $9.57
3 boxes of whatever else is cheap(usually cheerios and golden grahams) $9.57
$19.14
-$10 instantly
-$2.25 Kix coupons(I was able to print off three coupons from two computers-$4.50 on Wed. )
-$1 General Mill coupons(or if I wait till Wed.-Double Coupon Daze $2)
-$3.75 milk coupon(I'm factoring this into it because I was going to have to buy milk anyway)
= $2.14 for 6 boxes of cereal so about $.36 ea. (or $-1.35 on Wed. so getting paid for cereal!!!)

*Also, I plan on getting a few other things so that I will reach the $25 min. spent to get the coupons to double*

Cheap Kashi Bars

Target has their Kashi bars on sale for $2.67. Use this $2 coupon to get them for $.67. You better print these coupons quickly because the bricks coupons have a maximum print limit so if everyone else in the world is printing this hot coupon it won't last long.

Panera Bread 1/28

PaneraBread

Tomorrow (Wednesday, January 28, 2009) Panera Bread stores across the nation are offering free coffee all day long and free samples of their new breakfast items. As always, I recommend you call your store to make sure they are participating before you stop by.

Heard about this deal here.

$5 Movies

Marcus Theaters has a promotion called Spotlight Movie Night. They've had this for awhile but it seems that they've changed it a little. Every Wed. or Thurs. night you can go see a certain movie for $5 admission. You have to sign up on their website to get this offer e-mailed to you. Then on Tues. of every week you'll get an e-mail and click on the link to get your coupon. It has your name and information printed on it so it can't be used by anyone else. The movie options are also on the coupon so this week the movies are: Gran Torino, Bride Wars, Last Chance Harvey, & Defiance (so they are usually good movies offered). It says you can print out one coupon per family member. I also thought this might be nice to do for a Girl's Night sometime. So be sure to sign up!

Babycenter.com

I have referenced babycenter a few times now so I feel like I should write a little about that. I joined babycenter a few years back and have loved it ever since. Being a stay at home mom, I feel like I don't have much contact with the outside world but now with babycenter and the couponing board that I follow I feel a little less confined. It's a large group of woman(some who stay at home and some who work) and we all share our deals with each other. It's a great network. A lot of the main people that post have been doing it for awhile and are very helpful. We also have a lot of off topic posts about our personal lives so we also get to know each other a little. A few of the woman have had fertility issues so when they posted about finally getting their + test, we were all excited for them. I know many of you don't have the time to follow a board but if you're ever interested in checking it out, I invite you. The ladies are very hardworking and have put together a few resources you may want to bookmark. We have a google document with lots of printable coupon links and also one for hot deals. That one gets updated usually weekly with each store's deals.

Walgreens 1/25-1/31

One thing that jumps out at me for this week is their printer ink refill on sale for $5. There are $3 coupons that I found right on the counter at the photo center. There is also a $5 Walgreens EasySaver rebate. So potentially you can make $3 off this deal. If you've never had your ink refilled there before I would recommend the black ink refill as opposed to the color(atleast in my experience).

Ink Refill $5
-$3 Walgreens coupon for ink
=$2 but you'll get $5 back from MIR

There are two ways to redeem the $5 rebate. You can mail it in. You'll just need to grab one of the Easysaver catalogs which are located in the front of the Walgreens right by the ads. Or you could enter your receipt info. online and hopefully your rebate will come a little quicker.

Caregiver's Marketplace

For those of you that use Huggies diapers, this website is great for mailing in your receipts and getting a little extra back. You just have to print out the cash back form on their website and the fill it out, include your receipts with 5 qualifying purchases and mail it in. You get $.75 (it had been $1) for each package of Huggies diapers you buy. This makes any diaper deal even sweeter when you can factor in this. They do give rebates for a few other items such as Balmex, Cottonelle, and NatureMade. Check out the form to get the exact products.

Piggly Wiggly 1/21-1/27

*edited because my math was off*

Unilever Buy $30 Get $10 off instantly

I ordered coupons(from ebay) as soon as I saw this deal. This is what I'm doing:

Trans. 1

2 Skippy 1.98

29 packs of lipton 28.71

30.69

-$.75 skippy coupons (coupons are $.75/2 Skippy from 1/18 RP)

-$10.50 lipton coupons (coupons are $.75/2 Knorr-Lipton sides from 1/18 RP)

-$10 instant savings

$9.44

Trans. 2

2 packs lipton 1.98

20 skippy 28.80(first two are $.99 ea. after that 1.49 ea.)

30.78

-$.75 lipton coupons

-$7.50 skippy coupons

-$10 pig
$12.53

So I will be spending $21.97 at the store and I spent $4.60 on the coupons for a total of $26.57 divided by 52 items comes out to about $.51 each. And we go through peanut butter pretty quickly in our house so this won't last as long as you think. The Knorr/Lipton sides are great for a quick and easy meal. They come in rice or noodles in a variety of flavors so it's great to pair with some chicken (our favorite is to get a rotisserie chicken and cut it up) and a vegatable.

Taylortown Preview & Coupon Organization

Taylortown Preview is a great website to see what coupons are coming out in the upcoming paper. If you don't have a weekly subscription, it's great to know if it's worth your while to buy the paper that week for the coupons or not. She usually posts the coupons for the coming Sunday by Wednesday night. Sometimes it takes her a little longer though. It's also great to look up when a certain coupon came out.
If you don't want to spend the time cutting out each coupon and then organizing them you can simply keep the inserts intact and file them away. FYI-each insert has the date printed alongside the edge like on a book spine. Then if you need a certain coupon, just look up when it came out. There are usually three different types of inserts that come out:

SmartSource

Red Plum or also called Valassis (you can sorta see the date along the top side)

P & G.
The P & G usually comes out once a month and has coupons like Tide, Pampers, etc.

My coupon binder I keep in my purse (well, one of 4, LOL)

I usually clip out all my coupons but I do get extra inserts from my mom and mother in law so I keep those inserts in tact and file them away for later use.

You can keep the inserts in something like this-loosely

or in a large file binder like this and keep them organized by week

These are just things that I do and work for me. If you have any other suggestions or ideas , please share by leaving a comment.

Diapers.com

*this deal discovered by one of friends at babycenter and here's her blog (she's doing a $15 cvs giftcard giveaway too)

I did e-mail this deal to many of you already but just incase I missed someone here it is:

I just wanted to pass along this diaper deal to all of you. I ordered for the first time from diapers.com. This deal doesn't require you to even leave the house(well, you do have to mail in for the rebate so you'll have to walk out to the mailbox ;) ). I bought a large box of Luvs size 3 (204 ct.) and 2 jumbo packs of Luvs size 4 (34 ct.) for $42.97 but then will get back $14.97 in a mail in rebate for a total price paid of $27. That's a pretty darn good diaper deal, just under $.10/diaper. So all you've gotta do it go to www.diapers.com put over $49 worth of diapers in your cart, enter code: NICX1226 . That code will get an automatic $10 off your order and getting over $49 gives you free shipping. Then for the mail in rebate go to this website
( http://www.diapers.com/helpcenter/parenting.htm ) and follow the directions. You'll have to print it off and mail it in along with proof of purchase from diapers.com
Hope that helps!!!

MyPoints.com

A few months ago, I joined a website called mypoints.com. Since joining, I have earned 3 $10 Panera Bread giftcards and I'm just a few points away from getting my 4th. I originally joined it because I was a bzzagent(post about this in the future) and they converted all of our bzzpoints into mypoints. With MyPoints, you can choose which giftcard you'd like to get. I just happened to choose Panera because it's a great way to treat myself to a yummy healthy meal out. To earn points from mypoints, you simply read the e-mails they send you every day and then there will be a spot to click and get your 5 points (every once in awhile there will be a survey e-mail and you'll get 10 points even if you don't qualify for the survey or 50 if you do the survey). I will usually get about 3 e-mails a day from them. To earn a $10 Panera giftcard, you need 1400 points. This may seem like alot but if you would get 3 e-mails a day(sometimes you get more, sometimes less) at 5 points each it would take about 90 days to get enough points. That's about $40 a year in free giftcards. You can also earn points other ways but that is the free way to do it. The e-mail will have "deals" from companies ranging from Columbia House, to Diapers.com, to Auto Insurance companies trying to get you a better deal. If any of the offers seem appealing, you will earn points by taking advantage of them. For example, I got an e-mail about a company that makes inkjet refills for 1/2 the price of ones at the store. I ordered a few and earned some mypoints. So not only did I get mypoints but I also got a good deal on some ink. Other ways I've saved money was through one of the insurance company ones. We saved over $600 a year by switching our auto and home insurance to a different company. And I didn't even think we were paying that much for insurance to begin with. Not all of the e-mails will appeal to you but some of them just might save you a few bucks along the way. If you are interested in joining, please let me know so I can send you a referral. I think I can earn some mypoints if you join through me. So there is another way you can earn some, by telling other people about it. Any other questions, feel free to ask.

How to get some free Target giftcards

There are a few ways to get some free Target giftcards. There is a new website called Lilaguide.com . I think they are trying to get their name out there so they have a few promotions. If you create an account there and then write 10 reviews, you'll get a $5 Target giftcard. They will automatically send you an e-mail after you write your 10th review so you don't have to do anything special. For the reviews, I just picked baby items that I have or had and wrote about whether I liked them or not and why. It was fairly easy.
Then, if you create a group you have an opportunity to get another $5 Target giftcard and if you get 5 members(not including yourself) to join it by Jan. 31 you will get another $5 giftcard for a total of $10 in giftcards for creating the group and getting 5 members. (Hint: If we all join in together and join each other's groups we'll have no problem at all getting 5 members. Just leave a comment with the url link to your group and them others can be sure to join it if you still need members) Once you create a group and get the five members(or even if you can't get the five members you'll still get a $5 giftcard for creating the group) then you'll need to e-mail Shannon at sguyton@lilaguide.com . She is in charge of monitoring this since it won't automatically happen. Be sure to do this by Jan. 31.
So with a little bit of time/effort you can get $15 in Target giftcards. I did this the other night(with help from my babycenter friends) so I'll be certain to post when I get my giftcards.

My Coupon Blog

I decided to start this blog since I'm always telling all my friends about all my coupon deals. I figure it might be easier for them to check my blog and find out for themselves how to get some good deals if they are interested. Hope you all enjoy!
