Huggies Deal at Walgreens

This week Walgreens is having a sale on Huggies diapers. They are $8.99 and when you buy 3 packs you get a $5 RR. There are $2 printable coupons here. Also, if you have the $1 coloring book coupon(this is a Walgreens Children's Activity book typically found back by the pharmacy that you buy for $1 and has a booklet of coupons in it) you would end up paying a little over $4 per pack for diapers. Not quite as awesome as the last Walgreens/Huggies deal but still pretty sweet for stocking up.

Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs $.44

This week Piggly Wiggy has Oscar Meyer hot dogs on sale 2/$2.88. This is a pretty good price alone but it gets better. A $2 catalina(coupon) will print out when you buy two of them so it's like paying $.88 or $.44 a pack. I'm getting a few packs to throw in the freezer.

Huggies $2.99 a pack

This week at Walgreens, Huggies diapers are priced at $8.99. There is a $2 printable here(FF) or here(IE). When you buy 1 pack you get a $3 RR. If you also happen to have the Children's coloring book (they sell these for $1 and are usually back near the pharmacy), there is a $1 Walgreens coupon off Huggies.
So this is what it'd look like:

-$2 printable
-$1 walgreens
$5.99 get $3 RR or $2.99 each.

I just got back from Walgreens and was able to do this deal 8 times(I have 3 computers to print off of and got some mailer coupons as well).

*Also, just wanted to point out that Walgreens coupons do not need to be surrendered so the coloring book coupon can be used time and time again until the expiration date.

Pick N Save P&G Deal

In this Sunday's flyer, there is a promotion to get a $10 Visa Prepaid card by mail when you purchase $25 or more of Proctor & Gamble products in one transaction at Pick N Save. It didn't say participating products so I'm not sure if it will cover other items not mentioned in the ad. Here are a few of the sale prices in the ad(see store copy for more info.):

This will be a good sale to pair up with any coupons on double coupon day. I would imagine like previous promotions such as this one, that a mail in form will print out at the bottom of your receipt for you to send in.

Pick N Save Shopping Trip- $46.83

I had a very sucessful trip to Pick N Save today. They were doubling 10 coupons per transaction and I ended up doing 6 transactions. I filled up 2 carts and came home with ton of stuff. I spent $44.34 out of pocket at the store and then I also spent $2.49 in coupons on ebay so my combined total was $46.83. I also have two coupons for $3.50 off milk and I'll be able to get 5 movie tickets. That alone is worth the money. My shopping may look a little unbalanced with all the Rice A Roni and microwave popcorn but I like to stockpile shop. When I can get something for free I stock up for the shelf life of the product so those two items will keep for 9-12 months. I'm sure we'll be able to use them up by then. Here's the list of what I all got for my money:

Upcoming Pillsbury Deal-Two Days Only

I got word of a catalina promotion that will begin on the 25th and run through Feb. 21st. I almost wonder if this will be going on at all grocery stores. I know for sure it will be at Piggly Wiggly because that is where the print out was from. Currently this week, Piggly Wiggly has Grands biscuits on sale for $.99 and cresent rolls, cinnamon rolls, breadsticks, pizza crust, etc. on sale for $1.66. The sale goes through Tues. so the best bet is to do this deal while the stuff is on sale. Here's the promo: buy 4 get $2, buy 5 get $3, buy 6 get $4 (these are coupons that will print out to be used for your next purchase) There are plenty of good $1/2 coupons for all these products at pillsbury.com. Here are a few examples:

4 Grands biscuits & 2 pizza crusts $7.28
-$3 in coupons($1/2)
$4.28 get a $4 coupon or $.04 each

2 Cinnamon Rolls, 2 cresent rolls & 2 breadsticks $9.96

I think the best way to do it is in sets of 6 and getting the Grands biscuits helps to lower the cost because they are priced cheaper. I'm looking forward to getting some yummy cinnamon rolls and I think they keep for about 6 weeks in the fridge so I can stock up a little bit.

Cheap Fruit Snacks-Only thru Sun.

Piggly Wiggly has their Betty Crocker fruit snacks on sale this week 4/$5(when you buy in multiples of 4). There are $1/2 printable coupons found at bettycrocker.com for the fruit snacks or fruit by the foot. $.50/2 coupons can be found at www.coupons.com . Also, the kicker is that there is a catalina promotion where you buy 4 boxes and will get a $2.50 coupon to print out for your next purchase. So you'd pay $3 for 4 boxes of fruit snacks but get a $2.50 coupon so essentially you'd pay $.50. I'm so excited about this deal. (So excited that I will shameless post that if you won't be taking part in this deal but wouldn't mind printing the coupons off for me I'd love it! Hee hee, I don't blame you though if you take advantage of it yourself) The sale goes through Tues. but the catalina coupon will only print out through Sunday so hurry.

*If you plan on getting more than 4 boxes I would suggest doing them in separate transactions. If you buy 5 or more boxes you get a $3.50 coupon so the one that makes the most sense is to get 4 and get a $2.50 coupon and just do that twice.

If you sign up here, you will get a coupon e-mailed for a free dish when you purchase one. Also, you'll get a free dish when it's your birthday. If you're a Mac-n-cheese fan, I highly recommend theirs!

Canned veggies $.25

Print a coupon for $1/4 cans of DelMonte veggies here . They are on sale at Target this week for $.50 so you'd get them for $.25 after coupon.

Thanksgiving Day Shopping Trip-Profit!

In all the busyness of Thanksgiving I forgot to post this. I was able to take advantage of some pretty good Thanksgiving sales. Here is what I all got for $4.64 out of pocket but then after a $7 mail in rebate I will have essentially made $3.65 for buying this. Wohoo!

Chinet Plates $.49

This week at Walgreens, there is a in ad coupon that makes the Chinet plates buy one at $2.99 get one free. You can use 2 of the $1 coupons found here(IE) or here(FF). That would bring your total down to $.99 for two packs of paper plates. Make sure they scan the in ad coupon, one too many times I've had to go back and have them refund me the amount because I forgot about the in ad coupon.

Change to Redbox Codes

Redbox has now changed the way they do their monthly Monday movie codes. You now have to be signed up online to get them text messaged. Each code that is messaged will be unique and unable to be shared. This is a bummer so make sure you sign up to get these codes texted to you on the first Monday of every month.

$5 Hallmark Coupon

Here is a printable coupon for $5 off any purchase at Hallmark. This is great to use for cheaper items to get for free or almost free. They also had a few of these in some magazines.
